Returns & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your new hat! 

If you ordered a hat and it doesn’t fit right or you change your mind, Don’t Worry! we’re here to make things right for you. 

All you need to do is contact us by email, and we’ll take care of processing a return or exchange for you (including us paying all shipping costs if applicable).

Our email is info@hattersofamerica.com Please include your name, hat style and type “RETURN” on the subject line.

All items must be returned to us within 30 days of initial delivery.

FINAL SALE items are non refundable. 

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed and smoke, deodorant and perfume free. All original tags must be attached (please note that some items purchased online might not have tags). We reserve the right to refuse a return if these conditions are not met.  

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Items that are marked “Final Sale” “Clearence” “Last”
  • Items that are marked “One of a Kind” “Distressed” or “Close Out”
  • Items with signs of wear.
  • Hats that have been custom creased or stretched.  
  • Custom orders.

All return requests must be made within 30 days of the order being placed. After the return has been approved, please make sure it is delivered back to us at the address provided.

We will use the delivery date from the mail carrier provider tracking link provided at the time of shipment to calculate return dates. Any items sent back to us that are not in compliance with our return policy will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense, will not be refunded or credited. After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns on any purchases.

EXCHANGES: Due to our quickly changing inventory, we can not always promise an exact exchange. Please contact us to check inventory.

INCORRECT ORDERS: We double check every order before it goes out the door, but we are human, and mistakes happen.  If you receive the wrong item, or, are missing an item, let us know by: emailing info@hattersofamerica.com We will send you a prepaid return label to ship back the incorrect item. Once you have received the label, please send back the incorrect item within 7 days of receipt. When the item is received, we’ll ship the replacement item.
